Rose's experience with Odette and Odette's aftermath
During midnight from December 16 to December 17 is when Typhoon Odette attacked us. It was one of the most unforgettable night for me. It was scary. It was the moment where I prayed that the morning will come fast so I will be able to see the light and maybe the nightmare will stop. Its aftermath, it was so sad. We lost our electricity and signal and up to this day (December 29), there is still no electricity in our community. We just rely on generators. It was the first time I have experienced this and it was the first time I feared the wind. Bumabangon kami at humahabol. I know soon enough, makakabangon na kami at makakabalik sa dati.
